Kathmandu: A consignment of 100,620 doses of Pfizer–BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine donated by the United States of America has arrived in Nepal today.
The US government in partnership with the COVAX facility donated the vaccine to Nepal to fight against COVID-19.

The US Embassy, on its official Twitter, shared, “Just Arrived: 100,620 doses of Pfizer vaccine have just arrived in Nepal. These vaccines have been donated by the U.S. government to Nepal to fight COVID-19 in partnership with COVAX. Stay tuned for more.”
Before this, the US donated 1,530,000 doses of Johnson & Johnson vaccines to Nepal in July.
