14th edition of HR Meet concludes

KATHMANDU: The 14th edition of HR Meet held with the theme 'Embracing the Change' concluded on Friday. The two-day conference was inaugurated by Dr Bhagawan Koirala. Raj Raghavan, Senior Vice President & Head of Human Resources, IndiGo (InterGlobe Aviation) and Sai Kumar Chandran, Founder OrbitShift; Founder Penning It; Peak Performance Strategist; Business & Executive Coach; Strategy & Performance Consultant, were keynote speakers at the conference where various sessions were conducted. In addition, dialogue sessions and panel discussions were held on Making DEI (Diversity, Equity and Inclusion) Core to Business Strategy, and group discussions were held on various issues related to human resources. Growth Sellers has been organising HR Meet, an international level conference, annually to nurture, strengthen and empower the human capital since 2008. Last year the HR Meet started awarding the institutions and individuals who have been promoting and practising good HR in Nepal, in various categories. This year under the coordination of Prof Dr Subas KC, a jury panel comprising Punya Prasad Neupane, former secretary, Government of Nepal, and Bina Rana was formed. Awards were given in seven different categories — six categories for institutions and one for individuals — after the jury's tireless efforts and research for three months. Institutions awarded: 1. National HR Excellence Award 2022: Nabil Bank 2. Excellence in HR Innovation and Technology Award 2022: Unilever Nepal 3. Excellence in Employee Experience Award 2022: Dabur Nepal 4. Excellence in Learning and Development Award 2022: Nepal Pharmaceuticals Laboratory 5. Excellence in Industrial Relations Award 2022: Reliance Spinning Mills 6.
