35% physical progress achieved in Nagdhunga Tunnel Way

KATHMANDU: The physical progress in Nagdhunga Tunnel Way has reached around 35% while the economic progress is 43%. Nagdhunga Tunnel Way Project said 76% of the road construction has been completed while the progress on the dam is 37%. So far, construction of overpass has been completed while flyover is under construction. Development of two underpasses out of three has been done and three box culverts have also been constructed. Moeover, two out of three bridges have been completed. Till date, 1.1km of the main tunnel is completed out of a total 2.6km length. The project further shared that the development of 1,384 metres of exit tunnel has been completed out of a total of 2,557m. The Project has already completed the working audit. Similarly, the work on 48m out of 128m of the cross passage is over. Nagdhunga Tunnel, which is the first of its kind in the country, is being developed with concessional loan assistance from Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA). By RSS READ ALSO:
