A-SUV model Toyota Raize launched in Nepal; pricing starts at Rs 6.6m

KATHMANDU: United Traders Syndicate, the sole authorised distributor of Toyota vehicles in Nepal, launched a brand new A-SUV model, Toyota Raize at their head office in Ananda Nagar, Dhumbarahi, Kathmandu, on Friday. Toyota Raize will be an attractive addition to a very successful Toyota SUV model line-up in Nepal. "With the growing demand particularly in the Compact SUV segment, Toyota has come up with the perfect mobility solution for you and your family to enjoy private and a safe space. The new Raize is a compact SUV —  the ultimate passenger car catering to the need of customers who want to drive an SUV, who want to load their cars with a lot of luggage and get set for adventure. The car was designed and created with the goal of being 'active, useful, and compact." The Raize provides daily assistance for its owner in a variety of active circumstances and is easy to use both for leisure on weekends and for regular use. The all-new Raize is engineered to fit your urban cool vibe to lift everyone's spirit. Despite its compact size, it is packed with outstanding features such as 200mm of ground clearance, 4.9m best in class turning radius, 369 litres of boot space with ample seating spaces for both the driver and the passengers, perfect for long journies with your loved ones. [gallery columns="1" size="full" link="file" ids="17389,17390"] The newly developed inline 3-cylinder 1.2-litre gasoline engine of Raize provides rapid acceleration. The Raize's automatic variant is paired with the Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT) automatic gearbox that provides responsive and smooth 'as desired' performance for greater driving pleasure while providing improved milage. All aspects of the card including its platform and powertrain unit have been newly developed, with the goal of realising outstanding levels of driving performance, luxury, safety, and peace of mind. The new Raize features a compact body — just 4,030 millimetres in length and 1,710 millimetres in width. It is equipped with impressively large 16-inch tyres and protruding fenders, which provide the sense of power and stability unique to SUVs. In addition, there are 17 distinctive storage locations throughout the cabin, resulting in a highly convenient interior space. Photo: ToyotaNepal/Facebook[/caption] As for driving performance, the Raize's newly developed light-weight, highly rigid body and suspension contribute to outstanding handling stability and ride comfort. It is equipped with a large 7-inch multi-information display that ensures smartphone compatibility like Apple Carplay and Android Auto. A rear-view camera plus a total of four parking sensors, two in front and two in the rear are available to notify the driver of their proximity to obstacles, enhancing driver awareness and ease of use. In order to add to the completeness of the safety features in the car, there is also ABS, Vehicle Stability Control (VSC), and Hill Start Assist (HSA). The Raize in Nepal is available in four variants 1.2L Manual and Automatic Transmission and 1.0L Turbo Manual and Automatic Transmission, the price for which starts at Rs 6.6 million for the entry-level and Rs 8.6 million for the top-most variant.
