Ambassador Sharma presents credentials to Indian President Kovind

KATHMANDU: Newly appointed Ambassador of Nepal to India Shankar Prasad Sharma presented credentials to President Ram Nath Kovind at a special function held at Rashtrapati Bhavan in New Delhi on Wednesday. Ambassador Sharma paid a courtesy call on President Kovind and presented his credentials. Sharma wished the President of India personal health, happiness, peace and continued progress and prosperity of the friendly people of India, and conveyed best wishes to him on behalf of President Bidya Devi Bhandari, Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba, and the people of Nepal. Welcoming Sharma, the Indian President congratulated him on his appointment as Nepal's Ambassador to India and conveyed his best wishes, through Ambassador Sharma, for the progress and prosperity of the President, the Prime Minister and friendly people of Nepal. Senior officials from the Indian Ministry of External Affairs, the Office of the President and Nepali Embassy in New Delhi were present on the occasion. READ ALSO:
