Ambassador to India, Sharma, sworn in

KATHMANDU: Newly appointed Nepali Ambassador to India, Shankar Prasad Sharma, took oath of office and secrecy on Friday. At a special function organised at the Office of the President in Sheetal Niwas, President Bidya Devi Bhandari administered oath of office and secrecy to Ambassador Sharma. Minister for Foreign Affairs Narayan Khadka was also present on the occasion. On the recommendation of the government, President Bhandari appointed Sharma as Nepali Ambassador to India, on March 20.
