BPKIHS digitalises services, launches online ticketing for OPD

KATHMANDU: BP Koirala Institute of Health Sciences (BPKIHS), Dharan has digitised its services and launched online ticketing for the outpatient department (OPD). With the digitalisation of the services provided by BPKIHS, the patients of Province 1 and 2 will be relieved from the torment of waiting in a long queue for hours. The digital service has been launched for the first time in the health sector in the eastern region through Midas Technology Software. From now on, patients will be able to make appointments and pay on their own, thus avoiding the hassle of queuing at the hospital and saving time. The software company believes that the service will be effective during the coronavirus pandemic. The digital service is currently being provided by Tribhuvan University (TU) Teaching Hospital, Bir Hospital, Civil Service Hospital, Manmohan Cardiothoracic Vascular and Transplant Centre in Nepal.
