KATHMANDU: Representatives of Nepal-Korea Culture Centre have demanded the operation of direct flights between Nepal and Korea through the state-owned Nepal Airlines Corporation. The demand was made to Minister for Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation Prem Bahadur Ale.
During a meeting at the Ministry today, Director of Nepal-Korea Culture Centre Korea, Hwangqu, demanded that direct flights should be operated by Nepal Airlines for tourism development and agri-tourism of both countries. "Nepal-Korea direct flight is necessary for the development of tourism sector in Nepal and to attract tourists," Hwangqu said.
Responding to the proposal, Minister Ale said necessary discussions will be held for the direct flight between Nepal and Korea.
