CAN Info-Tech draws huge crowds of students on 5th day

KATHMANDU: A large number of visitors at the 27th edition of CAN Info-Tech were found attracted to the stalls providing information and IT services, and others providing start-up and innovative technology solutions, on the fifth day. Various stalls showcasing accessories have offered special discounts. The CAN Info-Tech witnessed a large number of students on Sunday. They had gathered at the stalls of Sunway International Business School, Softwarica College, Kantipur City College, Nepal College of Information Technology (NCIT), Lord Buddha Education Foundation (LBEF) Campus. Innovation Partner and Academic Partner of CAN Info-Tech,  Softwarica College and Sunway International respectively have showcased equipment and devices operating based on sensors, electronic charging, three-wheeler vehicles, drones, and cycles all made by the students. Among the visitors, students thronged the stalls related to their studies. Likewise, silver sponsor of the event, Teqmint Innovations has showcased chatbot based on artificial intelligence (AI), Video KYC and contract management where many visitors gathered on Sunday. According to the Federation of Computer Association of Nepal (CAN Federation), IT enthusiasts, former ambassadors, former secretaries and national level artists visited the exhibition on Sunday. Most of the visitors thronged the stalls aimed at branding, Fintech and start-up, according to CAN Federation Vice President Khushal Regmi. There are a total of 170 stalls at the CAN Info-Tech being organised by the CAN Federation at Bhrikutimandap, Kathmandu. Thousands of visitors have been buying tickets via IME Pay and visiting the event while others have opted out to buy tickets at the entrance. The six-day exhibition is scheduled to conclude today.
