KATHMANDU: SPG Automobiles, authorised distributor of Chery vehicles in Nepal, is set to launch Tiggo 7 Pro and Tiggo 8 Pro in the market soon.
Chery Tiggo 7 Pro [gallery link="file" columns="1" size="full" ids="24645"] The Tiggo 7 Pro has a strong and unique grille design, Matrix LED Headlight and a prominent floating roofline giving the vehicle a sleeker and futuristic look. The interior is spacious and has features like tilting and telescoping steering wheel covered in perforated leather with flex grooves, full leather interior with power seats for both the driver and the front passenger, electronic lumbar support, automatic climate control, an N95 cabin filter to protects from dust and other microorganisms that may be suspended in the air, and an 8-inch screen for infotainment and the gauge cluster. Chery Tiggo 7 Pro has a trunk space of 475 litres which is extendable up to 1,500 litres with the rear passenger seats folded down. The Tiggo 7 Pro has a unibody chassis with dimensions of 4500mmX1824mmX1746mm in length, width and height respectively, and sports 18-inch alloy wheels attached to a MacPherson Strut in the front and a multi-link suspension setup in the rear. The vehicle is powered by a 1.5-litre turbocharged engine which produces the maximum power of 108kW and maximum torque of 290Nm at 1750-4500rpm, and is mated to a CVT with up to 9 simulated gear ratios. The Chery Tiggo 7 Pro is equipped with a driver, front passenger, side, and curtain airbags, Bosch ABS ESP 9.3 system, electronic brakeforce distribution and brake assist, electronic stability program, emergency brake assist feature, a brake override system, hill descent control, hill hold control, traction control, and an emergency stop signal system.

Additionally, it also comes with functional sleek roof rails with a panoramic sunroof whereas the rear of the vehicle sports a Full LED Tail Lamp, Chromed Chery logo, and Dual Exhaust Pipe. The interior of the vehicle is spacious and features seven luxury seats, multiple touch screens, and a multi-function leather steering. Chery Tiggo 8 Pro is powered by a 1.6L TGDi Petrol engine and can generate a max power of 197kW at 5000rpm with a max torque of 290Nm at 2000-4400rpm. It has a 7-speed DCT transmission with a 51-litre fuel tank capacity. Moreover, it is EURO6-compliant with multiple riding modes. The dimensions of Tiggo 8 Pro are 4722mmX1860mmX1705mm in length, width and height respectively. The vehicle has a wheelbase of 2710mm along with 194mm ground clearance.
