Chinese Communist Party leader Liu meets PM Deuba, Foreign Minister Khadka

KATHMANDU: The head of the International Liaison Department of the Chinese Communist Party, Liu Jianchao, met with Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba and Minister for Foreign Affairs Narayan Khadka separately. Liu met with Prime Minister Deuba at the latter's official residence in Baluwatar, according to the Secretariat of the Prime Minister.  At the meeting, the two leaders held talks on bilateral relations and issues of mutual interest. Photo: RSS[/caption] Likewise, the visiting Chinese dignitary in his meeting with Foreign Minister Khadka at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA) on Sunday, discussed various matters of Nepal-China relations, according to MoFA. They also exchanged views on further enhancing bilateral cooperation and relations between the two countries. Chinese Communist Party leader Liu arrived in Nepal on Sunday morning leading an eight-member delegation. This is his first visit to Nepal in this role. He is in Nepal on a four-day official visit.
