Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi to visit Nepal on March 25

KATHMANDU: Chinese State Councilor and Foreign Minister Wang Yi will make an official visit to Nepal on March 25 at the invitation of Minister for Foreign Affairs Narayan Khadka.

The press statement issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA) today shared about the three-day visit of the Chinese Foreign Minister. The Chinese Minister is scheduled to pay courtesy calls on President Bidya Devi Bhandari and Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba.

Chinese Minister Wang will also meet with former prime ministers — KP Sharma Oli, chairperson of  CPN (UML) and Pushpa Kamal Dahal, chairman of CPN (Maoist Centre).

Minister Wang will hold bilateral talks with his Nepali counterpart Khadka, leading their respective delegations on March 26.

State Councilor Wang Yi will return home on March 27, informed the MoFA.
