CIM, MMA, CNI Koshi Province call for finding peaceful means to resolve naming of province

KATHMANDU: Three associations of industries in Koshi Province have called for finding peaceful means to resolve the naming of the province. Chamber of Industries Morang (CIM), Morang Merchants' Association (MMA) and Confederation of Nepalese Industries (CNI) Koshi Province expressed deep concern over protests that have been taking place at various places expressing dissatisfaction with the naming of the province, and the negative impact it has had on the daily lives of people who earn living by operating industries and businesses in a peaceful environment. Through a joint statement, the associations of industries have appealed to all concerned to express their dissatisfaction with the naming of the province to the concerned parties through constructive and peaceful means and to find a solution. Meanwhile, the three associations have extended gratitude to the Province Chief Minister, Hikmat Kumar Karki, for successfully naming Koshi Province through the democratic method with the consensus of more than two-thirds of the members of the province.
