CNI Women Leadership Forum to host ‘Women Leadership Summit 2023’ in January

KATHMANDU: The Confederation of Nepalese Industries Women Leadership Forum will host the ‘Women Leadership Summit 2023’ in Kathmandu from January 13 to 15, 2023. The three-day summit will focus on enabling and propagating women’s leadership in diverse areas on local, national, regional and international levels. [gallery columns="1" link="file" size="full" ids="28872,28873"] The summit also aims to understand and address the impacts of Covid 19 particularly on women. The WLS23 is built on the core themes of Women in Leadership, Women and Economics, and Women as Agents of Social Change. The Women’s Leadership Summit is the first-ever women’s meet from CNI that aims to bring recognised women leaders and experts across the globe on a single platform to create meaningful discussions and deliberations that will culminate into a summit declaration that will be presented to the head of state, relevant government bodies and the United Nations. [gallery columns="2" size="full" link="file" ids="28874,28876"] WLS23 will be attended by transformative and influential women leaders and changemakers, policymakers, enabling experts and organisation representatives in the fields of policy, politics, economics, entrepreneurship, arts, sports, cinema, environment and sustainability, and social activism. Registration will be open online for international and local participants through their website. Designed to be a one of its kind conference, Kathmandu will play host to major names from the international arena as invitees to what is designed to be a powerful stage for commitment to women’s leadership. The Summit is being led by Nirvana Chaudhary, Vice President of CNI as the Coordinating Vice President of the Women’s Leadership Forum, and Chhaya Sharma as the Chairperson of the Women’s Leadership Forum at CNI.
