Dabur Celebrates 25 Years in Nepal

Dabur Nepal celebrated 25 years in Nepal at a program held in Hotel Soaltee Crowne Plaza on July 10. The program was attended by Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba, Indian Ambassador to Nepal Manjeev Singh Puri, Chairman of Dabur India Dr. Anand Burman, CEO of Dabur India Limited Mr. Sunil Duggal and Managing Director of Dabur Nepal, Rukma Shumsher Rana. Dabur was founded in 1884 by the late S. K. Burman which has today become the world’s largest Ayurveda and natural healthcare company. Its brands are available in over 120 countries with a total reach of over six million outlets worldwide. Dabur has 19 world class manufacturing facilities across the globe. It has 12 manufacturing plants in India and seven in different locations around the world (UAE, Egypt, Nigeria, Turkey, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and Nepal). In line with the Dabur’s vision – Dedicated to the health and well-being of every household, Dabur entered Nepali market in 1989 and started commercial production in 1992. Since then it has contributed greatly to Nepal’s exports creating about 1,000 direct employments and about 20,000 indirect employments in Nepal, which has earned the company many laurels by the Nepal government.
