Shangrila Motors starts handing over new Citroën eC3 to customers

KATHMANDU: Shangrila Motors, the sole authorised distributor of Citroën vehicles in Nepal, has started handing over the much-anticipated Citroën eC3 to the customers.

The new Citroën eC3 features a 29.2kWh battery, delivering impressive performance with 57hp power and a peak torque of 143Nm. Its unique electric powertrain ensures smooth acceleration and an exhilarating driving experience. It’s design, marked by futuristic aesthetics, showcases Citroen's commitment to innovation and aesthetics, enhancing both style and efficiency through aerodynamics. The Citroën eC3's emission-free operation contributes to a cleaner environment, allowing customers to embrace eco-friendly mobility without compromising performance. By choosing the Citroën eC3, customers actively support a global shift toward sustainability.

Also, the company has claimed that the battery life will not be affected even if charged several times with the DC fast charger. The company has given this car a battery pack warranty of 7 years or 140,000 kilometres. Similarly, the electric motor given in it has a warranty of 5 years or 1 lakh km.

Citroën eC3 is a much-loved car worldwide and its future looks the same in Nepal. Its arrival, at last, has sparked a lot of eagerness among Nepali citizens as it promises to make EVs more accessible with its remarkable affordability. 

The Citroën eC3 is available at the "La Maison Citroën" showroom in Thapathali. It will be available in Birtamod, Itahari, Biratnagar, Narayan Gadh, Butwal, Pokhara, Nepalgunj, Dang and Dhangadhi showrooms after a week.  

Citroën eC3's Live variant is priced at Rs 3.29 million and the Feel variant at Rs 3.49 million.
