KATHMANDU: An agreement has been reached between Idea Studio Nepal and the Confederation of Nepalese Industries (CNI) to cooperate in the field of entrepreneurship.
CNI President Rajesh Kumar Agrawal and Idea Studio Nepal Executive Chairperson Tshering Lama signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) amid a programme held at CNI Secretariat.
The two institutions will collaborate in the fields of entrepreneurship and investment promotion through technical, scientific, financial and human resource support.
CNI President Agrawal said that both institutions should work effectively with the government to promote entrepreneurship and business for economic development in the country.
He said it was necessary to stop the 'Brain Drain' and create a proper environment for entrepreneurs. He also opined that collaboration with Idea Studio would provide creative support to young people with innovative ideas to become entrepreneurs.
Agrawal also briefed about the Make in Nepal Swadeshi campaign, startup and entrepreneurship promotion activities being carried out by CNI.
Idea Studio's Executive Chairperson Lama said that it was necessary to create an environment where something could be done by searching for prospects in the fields of entrepreneurship and investment in Nepal through collaboration with CNI. He opined that those who want to do something in the country should work on skill and policy reforms, and with the cooperation with CNI, more work can be done in the field of entrepreneurship and innovation.
Likewise, CNI Vice President Birendra Raj Pandey said that work will be done collectively in the field of entrepreneurship.

The main objective of CNI is to promote domestic and foreign investment, create employment opportunities in the industrial and corporate sectors of the country and encourage positive competition and efficient management among industries.
