
KATHMANDU: Nepal Airlines Corporation (NAC) has planned to operate direct flights to Dammam of Saudi Arabia from Kathmandu.
The national flag carrier has opened ticket booking with a plan to begin Kathmandu-Dammam direct flight on September 6, according to NAC' Spokesperson Ramesh Poudel.
Dammam is the NAC's 11th international flight destination. NAC's two wide-body aircraft and two narrow-body aircraft are flying to these destinations.
Poudel shared that there will be two flights a week on Wednesdays and Saturdays and there are plans afoot to increase the number of flights as per the national flag carrier’s market management.
The promotional fare for Kathmandu-Dammam is fixed at Rs 35,000.
With the expansion of NAC's flight to Dammam, Nepali migrant workers in Saudi Arabia are expected to benefit from their easy and accessible trip.
