KATHMANDU: Nepal Women Commission (NWC) member Krishna Kumari Paudel Khatiwada inaugurated an exhibition of paintings by artist Rishika Jalan, a member of Nepal Women Chamber.
On the occasion, Khatiwada said the painting is important as it conveys a message about human emotion and social transformation.
Stating that the women commission conducts various programmes for the capacity development of women artists, she wished success for the fourth edition of the art exhibition by woman artist Jalan.
Secretary General of Nepal Women Chamber Lima Adhikari among other art lovers were present during the inauguration of the exhibition.
The art exhibition was organised in collaboration with Nepal Women Chamber formed under Nepal Chamber of Commerce (NCC).
The exhibition was held at Siddhartha Art Gallery in Babarmahal, Kathmandu from September 2 to 4.
