KATHMANDU: iCapital has celebrated its 10-year milestone with the Tri-Netra Foundation which has been running a hostel for blind, orphaned, and people with disabilities, and also providing education support to the needy children of Nepal since its establishment in 2009.
As in the past, the company celebrated its anniversary with a charity. On this occasion, the company provided one-year scholarships to 10 blind students via the iCapital Foundation.
Founded in 2013, iCapital was established to transition from individual investing to institutional investing and fully commit to the philosophy of value investing. The company mainly focuses on three asset classes: ventures, real estate, and the stock market. Over the ten years, the company has invested in 24 companies, and the asset under management currently stands at Rs 2.25 billion with a 10-year compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 16%.
