KATHMANDU: Vaidya Energy, a subsidiary of the renowned Vaidya’s Organisations of Industries and Trading Houses (VOITH), unveiled new electric scooter Ather 450X for the Nepali market.
With the purpose of opening a new chapter in Nepal’s EV revolution, Vaidya Energy has partnered with Ather Energy, India’s leading smart electric vehicle manufacturer. The partnership between the two industry giants aims to redefine the landscape of future mobility, placing a strong emphasis on safety and technology while also delivering an exhilarating experience for users. Vaidya Energy will facilitate the sales and service of products from Ather in the Nepali market.
Shuryansh Vaidya, the CEO of Vaidya Energy, marked the opening of the launch event on Monday highlighting the features of the new scooter and their role in shaping the future of mobility. He mentioned, “It is a great pleasure to introduce the remarkable achievement of Vaidya Energy. We are happy to extend our partnership with Ather Energy and contribute to the Nepali market and industries. Innovation and sustainability should always be our top priority. What I believe is EV should never feel like a compromise for the customer. Customers should choose EVs overall. The company that is delivering the service should be ready to re-learn and ask for the opinion of the customers to bring a new change."
“Ather stands out as a perfect premium ability solution in Nepal. It is a reflection of more smarter future. It provides an incredible riding experience. Ather is the only scooter having Google Maps navigation. We are with you for the long run. We ensure that charging your scooter is convenient and you will never have range anxiety. We aim to build long-lasting relationships. We are here to give our people what they deserve. I invite you to gain a different experience with Ather,” he said.
The event gave insight into Ather 450X, which is a concept of a young engineer sketched on paper in Karnataka, India. Addressing the event, Ravneet Mokhela, Chief Business Officer at Ather, said, “There is an advantage whenever a young individual thinks of doing something. When they plan, they do not visualise or predict any future certainties. That is why, they make every imaginable thing happen. A group of young engineers sketched on paper and they made it possible. That’s the power of the work of young engineers. I am happy to extend our partnership with Vaidya Energy in Nepal which is our first market, and we are super excited. As it is close to India, it is easier to work. Having said that, this has also been possible because of the partner we have chosen. Vaidya's expertise with the group is fantastic. I am optimistic towards the future we will be having. We want consumers to love us.
The Vaidya Energy CEO and Ather's Chief Business Officer jointly unveiled the Ather 450X. They welcomed and congratulated the first group of customers who bought the newly launched electric scooter by providing keys.
Followed by different insightful videos showing the history of Ather and how they have come to Nepal, the event concluded with a networking dinner.
