FNCCI seeks suggestions from its members for national economic discourse

A A- A+

KATHMANDU: Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industries (FNCCI) has solicited suggestions from its members in a bid to help address the existing economic crisis.

The umbrella organisation of the private sector demanded suggestions as a part of its national economic discourse.

A meeting presided over by FNCCI President Chandra Prasad Dhakal on October 12 presented a proposal to the government seeking the formation of a high-level mechanism to which Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal responded affirmatively.

The FNCCI is gearing up for the next leg of discourse soon. Towards this, a circular has been issued to its members in all districts asking them to furnish suggestions to the government on the next course of actions to address the ongoing economic crisis.

The FNCCI then will compile and present a host of recommendations to the government for it to put in place private sector-friendly economic policies as well as to come up with resolutions to wipe out the economic crisis.
