- X-Trail launched at starting price of Rs 18.7 million
KATHMANDU: Pioneer Moto Corp, the official distributor of Nissan in Nepal, launched X-Trail e-Power, a hybrid adventure vehicle that combines electric driving with a petrol engine backup.
The all-new fourth-generation X-Trail has been launched in commitment to a more sustainable future, according to the company.
Launched at a starting price of Rs 18.7 million, Nissan X-Trail furthers the brand's commitment to introducing innovative mobility solutions and offers customers class-leading versatility, elevated exterior and interior designs, advanced safety, and improved levels of capability.
Since the introduction of X-Trail in 2001, more than seven million units have been sold globally, making it one of the world's most popular family adventure vehicles.

For this new iteration, Nissan has drawn on the well-established DNA that runs through all three of the previous generations of X-Trail: robust, SUV styling with intuitive technology, flexible utility, and an advanced powertrain with all-wheel drive capabilities. The new X-Trail will be available in seven-seater configuration, offering a convenient option for days out with extended family or friends.

Pioneer Moto Corp started its operations in 2017 and imports vehicles from Nissan's plants in Japan, Thailand and India. It has 17 touchpoints across Nepal.
