FENEGOSIDA, IRD discuss management of precious metal

KATHMANDU: Representatives of Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Association (FENEGOSIDA) and officials of the Inland Revenue Department (IRD) held a discussion regarding the deal of precious metal and its management. In the discussion held at IRD's central office in Lazimpat, Kathmandu, on Friday, the jewellery dealers were informed about the formalities they have to go through. Likewise, jewellery dealers were also informed about illegal wealth laundering and its effects. IRD Deputy Director General Tanka Prasad Pandey, Director duo Mitra Lal Adhikari and Hari Basyal among other officials were present in the discussion held with the delegation of the FENEGOSIDA led by its President Manik Ratna Shakya. The delegation of FENEGOSIDA comprised General Secretary Dharma Sundar Bajracharya, Treasurer Sudeep Shrestha among others.
