KATHMANDU: Hansraj Hulaschand & Co, the sole authorised distributor of Bajaj motorcycles in Nepal, has launched the all-new Pulsar N250 and Pulsar N160.
The all-new Pulsar N250 and N160 bring the next generation of power, and performance, for riders who seek a motorcycle of sporty character, yet rideable in everyday conditions.

Both of these bikes have been released under the theme of all-new sports tech ‘unadulterated thrill’ which refers to the pure adrenaline rush that riders would experience while riding these bikes.
Pulsar N250 Pulsar 250 design language boasts of a sharp unibody gesture with tighter proportions and a modern aerodynamic design. The muscular dynamic tank is contrasted with a sleek stylish waist section that extends to a contoured step seat, making for an eye-catching profile. It is further equipped with a sportier, throatier, and stylish exhaust in a satin grey finish. The floating body panels such as the belly pan, front fairing, and front fender along with the wider tires complete the imposing profile of the new Pulsar. The all-new sports-tech theme brings out the ‘sculptural purity’ of the bike through a dynamic interplay of newly developed premium metallic colour that evokes a ‘singular first look’ at the front cowl of the bike. The eye sweeps through the aggressive, but uncluttered front fascia to the muscular tank and the integrated cowl in one look – taking in the fluid sculpture. Through a progressive lightening of tone from front to back, the new Pulsar 250 looks fresh at every glance. The tone-on-tone treatment further enhances the contours at play. Satin black finishes to the side covers and tank-side inners contrast the metallic gloss on the tank and seat cowl. The engine covers are finished in deep copper — for an arresting view — flanked by the ‘Siberian Silver’ pivot plate and the floating belly pan. From being the most powerful 150 cc, beating its own benchmarks with DTS-i, to the naked, adrenaline-inducing power of the NS200, the Pulsar has always been the fastest wolf in the pack. Now, in its biggest-ever avatar, the Pulsar 250 brings free-revving, unfettered power to the quarter-litre segment. The 250 cc BSVI DTS-i oil-cooled engine delivers 24.5 PS of smooth, available-through-the-band power with a peak torque of 21.5 Nm that leads to a superior pickup and elevates the signature ‘10 second adrenaline rush. Moreover, a meaty mid-range and nimble-footed handling further enhance its everyday riding performance.
Pulsar N160 New Bajaj Pulsar N160 is built on the new Pulsar platform that underpins the brand’s latest Pulsar 250. The new motorcycle comes with a segment-first dual-channel ABS system, a fuel-efficient 165cc BS6 engine, and LED projector headlamps. Bajaj claims that the new Pulsar N160 is conceptualised to “deliver power, precision, and control like never before in the segment”. The new motorcycle targets young riders who want a sporty motorcycle that is also rideable in everyday street conditions. The new Bajaj Pulsar N160 is powered by a 165cc, BSVI-compliant engine that is capable of producing 16PS of power at 8,750rpm and 14.65Nm of torque at 6,750rpm. The company claims that 85% of peak torque is available throughout the rev band for improved pick-up. It is paired with a 5-speed gearbox. The engine produces 1.2bhp less power than the Pulsar NS160’s 160cc, 4-valve engine. The new Bajaj Pulsar N160 is built on a tubular frame chassis. It features an underbelly exhaust system, a mono-shock rear suspension, and an LED projector headlamp. The LED projector headlamp is flanked by slim LED daytime running lamps on either side. The motorcycle’s fuel tank extensions, split seats, alloy wheels, and tail lights look identical to the ones offered in the Pulsar N250.
