FENEGOSIDA demands increase in supply of raw gold

KATHMANDU: Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association (FENEGOSIDA) has urged the government to make the gold supply system effective as the supply of gold in low quantity has created shortage in the market. The delegation of FENEGOSIDA led by its president Manik Ratna Shakya met with Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba's foreign advisor Arun Kumar Subedi on Tuesday. The delegation informed Subedi about the impact of the low supply of raw precious yellow metal on the market. PM Deuba's Advisor Subedi has assured that the initiative will be taken forward through the agencies concerned. Currently, 10 kilogrammes of gold are supplied by legal means daily. In the past years, 25kg of gold was imported daily during the festive season. READ ALSO:
