Aadhyanta gets fund manager licence for Specialised Investment Fund

A A- A+
KATHMANDU: Aadhyanta Fund Management has successfully registered with the Securities Boards of Nepal and secured the licence to operate as a Fund Manager in Nepal. The fund manager licence has been granted in accordance with SEBON-Specialised Investment Fund Rules 2075. The licence allows the company to establish, manage and promote investment funds. It will also create an alternative investment platform for investors in Nepal to generate higher returns and provide diversification benefits to investors as they seek to access relatively untapped opportunities. The raised funds will be deployed in promising enterprises and sectors that are seeking growth capital to achieve their goal. Manoj Paudel, Founder of Aadhyanta, said, "We are thankful for the innovative thinking that SEBON has shown. This innovation unlocks private capital mobilisation to unleash Nepal's potential for growth. We will focus on mobilizing private capital purposefully to grow enterprises that support Nepal’s development transition and aspirations. We will be raising local and international capital from investors looking for alternative investment opportunities that deliver exception returns in the medium and long term and mobilising the funds to achieve cross-industry and cross-border synergies as well as empowering entrepreneurs to lead innovation.  We will work in the areas of infrastructure, innovative businesses, and sectors such as tourism, agriculture, health and education that are of priority to achieving Nepal's middle-income status along with sustainable development goals (SDGs) by 2030." Promoted by institutional investors such as Rastriya Banijya Bank Limited, Agricultural Development Bank Limited, Sunrise Bank Limited and Laxmi Bank Limited, and prominent professionals and experts, Aadhyanta establishes itself at a unique cusp of public-private partnership in the enterprise ecosystem of Nepal. Aadhyanta is a Nepali-owned fund mobilisation platform with the mission to change how capital is mobilised for entrepreneurs and enterprises. We plan to accelerate Nepal's transition to middle-income status by making investment accessible and engaging enterprises organically, taking risks together, and supporting them in each and every step.
