KATHMANDU: Rahul Agrawal has been elected National President for Round Table Nepal (RTN) — an organisation of non-political and non-sectarian young men with the aim of promoting service, fellowship and goodwill in National and International affairs. The organisation successfully conducted the 22nd National Annual General Meeting (AGM) in Chitwan district, on September 3. Various stakeholders from member countries under Round Table International attended the AGM where Agrawal was elected new national president of RTN. The National Board of RTN includes Nitesh Kumar Agrawal as Vice President and Diwash Subedi as National Secretary. Similarly, Saket Murarka has been picked as National Treasurer and Nikhil Bansal as National Editor. The immediate Past President and International Public Relations Officer of RTN, Anand Baheti, spoke about his accomplishments during his tenure. Guests and delegates from Germany, France, India, Bangladesh and other countries attended the programme. More than 400 members from across the country attended the AGM held at Hotel Siraichuli in Bharatpur Metropolitan City. RTN is a zero-overhead organisation, thus every penny raised and donated is only used towards building schools under the Freedom through Education. Round Table Nepal has a history of over 30 years and has built 58 schools which comprise more than 350 classrooms all over Nepal.
