Himalayan Capital to provide issue management services to Nepal Warehousing Company

KATHMANDU: Himalayan Capital has entered into an agreement with Nepal Warehousing Company to provide the issuance and sale management services for the public issue. Parmeshwar Pant, Chief Executive Officer of Himalayan Capital, and Jaya Mukunda Khanal, Chief Executive Officer of Nepal Warehousing Company, signed the agreement at a programme in this regard. As per the agreement, Himalayan Capital will manage the issue and sales of a total of 1,375,000 units of shares equal to 20% of the issued capital of Nepal Warehousing Company. Himalayan Capital has been providing the latest services for the development of capital in the Nepali market. Nepal Warehousing Company has been contributing to the long-term food security of the country by providing timely agricultural produce storage services for the modernisation of the agricultural sector. The company will provide grain storage facilities to farmers through modern silos of 55,000 metric tons in Province No. 1, Madhesh Province and Lumbini Province. The company will prepare the necessary infrastructure for increasing the auction of agricultural produces and warehouse receipt financing, and manage the mortgage in coordination with banks and financial institutions (BFIs).
