Hotel Yak & Yeti inaugurates 2nd annual tennis tourney

KATHMANDU: The inaugural ceremony of the 2nd Yak & Yeti Tennis Tournament took place at the Poolside Garden in Hotel Yak & Yeti, on Sunday. The event was inaugurated by Bikash Rana, which was followed by a high tea arranged for all the participants. Nepal’s No.1 Tennis player Pradeep Khadka also attended the event. After last year’s successful event, Hotel Yak & Yeti announced 140 participants at this year’s instalment of the Amateur Tennis Tournament, with a total of 145 games. The participants' age categories range across four groups — 35+ 45+ 55+ and 65+. The 2nd Yak & Yeti Tennis Tournament will be a competition between prominent businesspersons, corporate houses, hospitality industry, financial institutions and army officials among others, from the cities of Kathmandu, Pokhara and Butwal. The final match will take place on September 10. This marquee event is the biggest non-professional tournament taking place in Kathmandu. READ ALSO:
