KATHMANDU: Himalaya Airlines conducted a test flight at Gautam Buddha International Airport in Bhairahawa, Rupandehi district.
The Nepali airline operator tested flights as part of a training session for its pilots on Thursday between 12:00 pm and 5:00 pm, said Director General for the Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal (CAAN) Engineer Pradip Adhikari.
For this purpose, an aircraft belonging to the airline landed at the international airport at 12:00 pm on Thursday, Adhikari said.
Presently, only Jazeera Airways regularly operates commercial international flights at the airport after it tested flights on May 16. The flights are scheduled three days a week on Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays.
