Turkish Airlines join hands with NYEF Kathmandu chapter

KATHMANDU: A Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) was signed between Turkish Airline Kathmandu office and Nepalese Young Entrepreneurs Forum (NYEF) Kathmandu chapter. The forum, a membership-based non-profit organisation was officially instituted by the Federation of Nepalese Chambers and Commerce and Industry (FNCCI) on September 26, 2003. Abdullah Tuncer Kececi, General Manager of Turkish Airlines, and Chirag Goyal, President of NYEF Kathmandu Chapter entered into an agreement to implement the year-long partnership. The airline aims to encourage more collaborations in the field of entrepreneurship and youth-based partnerships between Turkey and Nepal. Established in 1933 with a fleet of five aircraft, Star Alliance member Turkish Airlines has a fleet of 371 (passenger and cargo) aircraft flying to 334 worldwide destinations in 329 cities — 279 international and 50 domestic — in 128 countries. Currently, Turkish Airlines Kathmandu operates regular flights to Istanbul and beyond and is the only European carrier that connects Nepal directly to Europe. Likewise, NYEF is an apex body of young entrepreneurship in Nepal. NYEF aims at creating outstanding entrepreneurs through idea exchange, fellowships, education, training and advocacy among the Nepali youths. It promotes an entrepreneurial mindset and a shared vision through the effective and much-needed networking of young entrepreneurs. After a successful start in Kathmandu, it now has chapters in 10 different cities of Nepal and covers all seven provinces with more chapters in the pipeline. READ ALSO:
