Shrestha re-appointed CEO of IME General Insurance

KATHMANDU: Yugesh Bhakta Bade Shrestha has been re-appointed Chief Executive Officer of IME General Insurance (IGI). Shrestha has been appointed CEO as per the decision taken by the 120th Executive Committee meeting of IGI held on June 21 to appoint him for the second term with effect from August 8, 2022. Shrestha has been working in the non-life insurance sector for 27 years. IGI has succeeded in achieving significant progress in about seven years under the leadership of Shrestha who has made the insurance sector his career platform. On the occasion, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the company, Hem Raj Dhakal, offered congratulations to Shrestha on his appointment as CEO for the second term and wished him a successful tenure. Taking the oath of the executive officer, Shrestha expressed his commitment to establishing IGI as an excellent company and thanked the regulatory bodies, Shri Bima Samiti, Chairman and directors of the Company, shareholders and all colleagues working in the company for their support.
