Idea Studio opens application for ‘College Idea Hunt 2022’

KATHMANDU: Idea Studio Nepal has opened application for its annual programme — College Idea Hunt 2022. Idea Studio on Thursday organised a press conference at Kathmandu Model College in Bagbazar to announce the opening of the application for the annual programme. The 'College Idea Hunt 2022' targets the students who are studying higher education and who are thinking of venturing with new plans and ideas. Students who have ideas with innovative and sustainable solutions related to contemporary issues and opportunities can submit their plans to the 'College Idea Hunt'. Experts and stakeholders from various fields were present at the press conference. Vice-chairman of National Youth Council Surendra Basnet was present as a guest speaker at the event. Likewise, Dr Gangaram Bishwakarma, Deputy Director of Tribhuvan University Management Faculty; Dr Ghanashyam Gurung, Country Representative of World Wildlife Fund Nepal; Dr Tshering Lama, Executive Chairman and Co-founder of Idea studio Nepal; Josep Shrestha, winner of College Idea Hunt 2019, Ang Dolma Sherpa, the ideator of Idea Studio Season 4, students and various other professionals were present at the conference. Ten best plans from among the ideas received through the college idea hunt will be provided with training and consultations related to businesses. Likewise, the top 3 winners will get a cash prize of Rs 100,000 each and direct entry into Idea Studio Season 7. They will also get incubation programs, business networks, reality TV shows and investment opportunities. Interested students who want to participate in 'College Idea Hunt 2022' can submit applications through the website until September 4, 2022. Idea Studio is a platform to turn promising ideas into solutions and ultimately ignite social change by enabling youth potential in favour of entrepreneurship through innovation. READ ALSO:
