STC appointed as authorised distributor of TATA Green Batteries

KATHMANDU: Syakar Trading Company (STC), authorised distributor and retailer of Honda motorcycles and scooters in Nepal, has been appointed as authorised OEM distributor of Tata Green Batteries for Honda Motorcycle and Scooters, Honda Power Products and Honda Motors (Automotive) in Nepal. [caption id="attachment_26505" align="alignnone" width="1000"] Photo: Media9[/caption] At a programme organized in Kathmandu today, Anil Bhamre, Vice President Sales and Marketing, Tata AutoComp GY Batteries, said, "Tata Green Batteries is one of the biggest suppliers of two-wheeler batteries in India to major OEMs like Honda Motorcycles and Scooters India (HMSI), Yamaha, TVS, Jawa, Suzuki and Piaggio. We wish to replicate India’s success story in Nepal too, by associating with STC which is a well-known name in the region and strongly believe that this tie-up will be a major boost for the growth of Tata Green Batteries in Nepal." Tata Green Batteries (TGY) is a 50:50 joint venture between Tata AutoComp Systems and GS Yuasa Corporation, Japan. Likewise, GS YUASA is the world's largest two-wheeler battery manufacturer and Asia's largest automotive battery manufacturer with strong OEM relationships and a worldwide presence in more than 20 countries.
