14 sub-committees formed to manage Gosainkunda fair on Janai Purnima

RASUWA: Various sub-committees have been formed in order to conduct this year’s Gosainkunda fair in a well-managed and dignified manner. Gosainkunda Area Development Committee on Tuesday decided to constitute different 14 sub-committees such as transport management, hotel and lodge for residence management, health and rescue management and environment protection. A gathering of the stakeholders held at the District Administration Office made the decision in this regard. With a target to bring in 15,000 devotees on the occasion of Janai Purnima (sacred thread tying) on August 12, the Gosainkunda Area Development Committee has intensified its preparation. According to Committee Chairperson Sanjeeb DM, they have requested hotel entrepreneurs to make their necessary preparation to accommodate a large number of devotees during the festival.
