KATHMANDU: Minister for Home Affairs Bal Krishna Khand and Ambassador of India to Nepal, Naveen Srivastava, held a meeting at the former's office in Singha Durbar, Kathmandu today.
Ambassador Srivastava, who has arrived in Nepal recently, held a meeting with the Home Minister for the first time
On the occasion, they exchanged views regarding further deepening and consolidating the mutual relations between Nepal and India, said Madhusudan Bhattarai, the Home Minister's press coordinator.
Home Minister Khand urged India to facilitate the supply of chemical fertiliser for the agriculture sector in keeping with the agreement reached between the governments of both countries.
The Indian ambassador said he would take initiative for the implementation of the agreement reached with Nepal.
