FNCCI President Dhakal and Prabhu Bank CEO Sherchan honoured in Baglung

BALEWA, BAGLUNG: President Ramchandra Paudel felicitated Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FNCCI) President Chandra Prasad Dhakal and Prabhu Bank's CEO Ashok Sherchan, in their home district, Baglung.

President Paudel, who arrived in Baglung to inaugurate the 7th Baglung Festival in Baglung district on Wednesday, honoured Dhakal, who was born in Amalachaur of Baglung Municipality-12, and Sherchan, who also hails from the same district.

The Baglung Chamber of Commerce and Industry honoured Dhakal and Sherchan for their outstanding contribution to introducing the Baglung district in the business sector.

Dhakal, who chairs the IME Group, expressed his pleasure that the honour bestowed upon him in his native land was a precious experience.

During the inauguration of the festival, various local residents were felicitated for their contribution to organising the festival for a long time. The festival was held after a hiatus of four years due to the Covid-19 pandemic. It will run through 6 January 2024.
