Indian External Affairs Minister Jaishankar arrives in Kathmandu

KATHMANDU: India’s Minister of External Affairs Subrahmanyam Jaishankar arrived in Kathmandu to attend the 7th Meeting of Nepal-India Joint Commission.

Minister for Foreign Affairs NP Saud, Foreign Secretary Sewa Lamsal and other officials welcomed Minister Jaishankar at the Tribhuvan International Airport this morning, according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA).

The Indian minister is scheduled to pay a courtesy call on the President, Prime Minister and other political party leaders, before a bilateral meeting with his Nepali counterpart at the Nepal-India Joint Commission.

Minister Jaishankar will return to India tomorrow.
