KATHMANDU: TVS Motor Company has recently announced that TVS iQube, the company's first electric scooter, has completed 100,000 kilometres on the roads of Nepal. This remarkable milestone was achieved in less than four months since the launch of the TVS iQube in the country, reaffirming TVS Motor's commitment to sustainability and green mobility. The TVS iQube has demonstrated best-in-class endurance, riding comfort, eco-friendliness, and 'running cost-effectiveness' within a short span, earning the love and respect of its customers.

The environmental impact of this achievement is substantial, with a reduction of 3,500 kg of CO2 emissions, equivalent to planting about 175 trees. Additionally, the fuel saved amounts to 2,850 litres, resulting in customers' fuel cost savings of Rs 460,000 and reducing the burden of foreign exchange on the exchequer.

The TVS iQube Green Revolution Ride, starting from the TVS Naxal Showroom and concluding in Bhaktapur, had 30 participants. The main goal of the ride was to combat environmental pollution, save trees, and stop noise pollution. The event included activities such as Safe Riding Training and tips on maintaining vehicles. Gifts and certificates were given to participants, demonstrating TVS Motor Company's dedication to promoting eco-friendly and responsible urban mobility.

Globally, TVS iQube has already reached 225,000 households, making it the primary choice of electric mobility for many seeking a world-class premium product with cutting-edge technology. Accumulating over 1.25 billion kilometres, saving 15 million litres of fuel and reducing carbon emissions by 43,765 tonnes, equivalent to 1.7 million trees planted, the TVS iQube offers an unparalleled electric riding experience.

Nepal is one of the few countries with domestic power generation that is entirely renewable, with 98% of it coming from hydropower. The electric revolution of TVS iQube ably supports the country's electricity surplus and will be a major contributing factor in nation-building.
