Government to implement projects of Rs 30 million in budget

NUWAKOT: Finance Minister Prakash Sharan Mahat has stated that the federal government will implement projects of more than Rs 30 million from the upcoming fiscal year 2024/25.

Addressing an event organised at Sherabagar of Shivapuri Rural Municipality-5 in Nuwakot district on Monday, Finance Minister Mahat said new rules have been made for the implementation of the projects from the federal and provincial governments adding that the provincial government will implement projects of over Rs 10 million in budget.

The size of the budget in the projects has been fixed by ending confusion on project implementation from three layers of government. 

Minister Mahat also said that three layers of governments were working proactively in view of people's demands, concerns and challenges. He said the coordination will be prioritised in project implementation.
