Samsung Nepal's Director, Pranaya Ratna Sthapit, and Shrinkhala Khaitiwada, Miss Nepal World 2018, unveiled the Galaxy S24 Series at the event.
Speaking on the occasion, Sthapit stated, "Galaxy S24 is truly the phone of the future. Together with Samsung Galaxy AI we will reshape the technology landscape by providing ultra-personalised user experience. As our first-ever truly AI-powered phone, the device combines Galaxy exclusive performance and experiences together. Today we are opening a new chapter without barriers to unleash human potential."
The event was attended by guests from Media, Corporate sectors, and emerging creators. They had the opportunity to experience the new era at the event through Experience Zone, which showcased the newly unveiled Galaxy S24 Series smartphones. The first impression of the Galaxy S24 series and the Galaxy AI left a strong impression, with anticipation for incorporating this experience into their lives.
New Ways To Connect: Breaking Down Language Barriers
Communication is vital. That's why Galaxy AI offers AI features to enhance experiences, enabling communication anytime, anywhere. These features were introduced at the event through a live demonstration.
The Galaxy S24 series offers Live Translate, real-time, two-way call translations within the native call app. The feature supports audio and text translations for up to 13 languages, no matter what phone the other person uses. Additionally, Galaxy AI is more secure as it operates on-device instead of relying on external cloud systems.
The presentation showed how the Galaxy S24 series can be used daily. The device can act as an interpreter, assist in sending texts, and help stay organised during meetings. Users can create and share summaries of recorded conversations with Transcript Assist or use Note Assist. The new Android Auto feature allows safe navigation, media access, and connectivity on the road.
New Ways To Search:
Circle to Search offers users a method to search on their phones with a simple gesture, without the need to switch apps. The Galaxy S24 series also safeguards users' personal information. In collaboration with Google, Samsung has developed a device that enhances the security of the search process, offering users transparency and control. Users can choose to allow online processing and full AI functionality under Advanced Intelligence settings.
New Ways To Create: Boosting Content Creation With Enhanced Camera Features
The Galaxy S24 Ultra offers users creative freedom with its suite of AI tools, powered by a ProVisual Engine. A concert video of the K-POP group TOMORROW X TOGETHER (TXT), shot with the Galaxy S24 Ultra, was shown during the product briefing. The video used Nightography Zoom on the Galaxy S24 Ultra.
The Galaxy S24 series allows users to use the Galaxy's camera experiences on social media apps. AI extends to video, enabling users to create and watch any video in Instant Slow-mo. Users can also use Dual Recording to create 4K vlogs with the front and rear cameras simultaneously. The Galaxy S24 series enables users to produce content without extra equipment.
Quick Share, Galaxy's file sharing feature, has also improved. In partnership with Google, users can share files across all Android devices and Windows PCs.
New Ways To Play: Optimal Mobile Gaming Experiences Through Powerful Performance
The Galaxy S24 series is equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon® 8 Gen 3 Mobile Platform and Samsung’s Exynos 2400. These provide usability and smooth gameplay, along with a Ray tracing module for gaming. Galaxy AI optimises the Galaxy S24 series’ battery performance, allowing for extended gaming sessions.
The Galaxy S24 Ultra design uses titanium, a first for a Galaxy smartphone, providing durability. The device, the thinnest model yet, features a flat front edge display compatible with the S Pen and a durable screen with even bezels.
Advanced Security and Privacy
Galaxy S24 is secured by Samsung Knox, which safeguards information and protects against vulnerabilities with secure hardware, threat detection, and protection. Users can control how their data enhances AI experiences through Advanced Intelligence settings, which can disable online data processing for AI features.
Galaxy S24 also includes security and privacy features such as Knox Vault, Security & Privacy Dashboard, Auto Blocker, Secure Wi-Fi, Private Share, and Maintenance Mode.
Sustainability
The Galaxy S24 series reflects Samsung's commitment to product longevity, offering seven generations of OS upgrades and seven years of security updates. This ensures users can experience the performance of their Galaxy devices for an extended period.
