KATHMANDU: Draupadi Samman Patra-2022 was conferred on Shreejana Rana, President of Nepal-India Chamber of Commerce and Industry (NICCI), by Draupadi Dream Trust in India.
The NICCI President was honoured for her contribution to Nepal-India bilateral relations through the development and promotion of religious/spiritual tourism in both the countries. Rana has contributed to publishing a book, and dedicated website on Nepal-India religious/spiritual circuits which covers Buddhist Circuit, Mahabharat Circuit, Ramayan Circuit, Shiva-Shakti Circuit and Sikh Circuit aiming to promote pilgrimage tourism in both the countries.
Draupadi Dream Trust is the institution working on the area of ancient eastern civilisation, art, culture, religion and history, and publication of such area for a long time.

Ajit Doval, Chief Security Advisor to the Indian Government, honoured Rana amid a special programme held in New Delhi, on May 20.
Rana was the only Nepali national to be honoured at the programme where various other Indian dignitaries from different walks of life were also honoured.
NICCI feels proud at this moment and has committed to working sincerely in the area of Nepal-India Economic and bilateral relations in the coming days.
Nepali Ambassador to India Shankar Prasad Sharma and Minister (Economic) at the Nepali Embassy in New Delhi, Nita Pokhrel Aryal were also present on the occasion.
