NEPSE reduces by 1.02% to close at 2005.83

KATHMANDU: Nepal Stock Exchange declined 20.76 points or 1.02% to close at 2005.83. Sensitive index, gauging the class ‘A’ securities, also plunged by 0.96% to reach 359.57. 

The secondary market of Nepal observed bearish momentum today with Hydropower (-1.90%), Investment (-1.54%), Hotels & Tourism (1.48%) and Non-life insurance (-1.46%) powering the downward trend. 

As many as 49 companies advanced while a staggering 197 declined in today’s trading. Total turnover was 3.206 billion. 9,518,075 shares of 309 companies were transacted in 77,833 transactions.
