CIM unites industrial sector for collective progress

KATHMANDU: Chamber of Industries Morang (CIM) recently held a meeting with the newly elected executive committee members of the Confederation of Nepalese Industries (CNI) Koshi Province and Birat Byapar Sangh, a business association

The meeting focused on the need for institutional unity to further the collective interests of the industrial sector.

CIM President Rakesh Surana stated that organisations should unite to address the challenges faced by the industry and business sector. He called for unity to overcome these issues and highlighted the role of private sector organisations in strengthening relations and promoting industrial development through cooperation with the government.

CNI Koshi Province Pawan Sharda highlighted the need for unity among business organisations to counter the industry's slowdown. He stated that the growth of the private sector is important for prosperity. Sharda emphasised that lobbying efforts by private sector organisations should be collective to draw the state's attention to policy issues impacting development.

Birat Byapar Sangh President Anshu Banjara affirmed that the Association is prepared to navigate the business sector out of its difficulties. Banjara stressed the importance of strengthening the relationship between business sectors that are facing challenges.

CIM Senior Vice-President Nanda Kishor Rathi noted that creating a positive environment is essential for the development of private sector.

The meeting was attended by officials of CIM, committee members, and women entrepreneurs from CNI Koshi Province, and Birat Byapar Sangh.
