Preparations underway to receive report from EPG on Nepal-India relations

KATHMANDU: Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal has stated that preparations are underway to receive report from the Eminent Persons Group (EPG) on Nepal-India relations. 

During a meeting of the National Concern and Coordination Committee under the National Assembly held today, Prime Minister Dahal mentioned that internal preparations have been initiated to receive the report simultaneously from both countries.

Lawmakers expressed their concerns about the EPG report, particularly in light of India's apparent reluctance to receive it. 

In response to these concerns, PM Dahal suggested that Nepal may need to decide if there is no provision to receive the EPG report simultaneously from both sides.

The EPG was established by the governments of Nepal and India to review past agreements signed between them.
