Gold price reaches unprecedented heights; traded at Rs 126,000 per tola

KATHMANDU: Gold price continues to reach unprecedented heights in local bullion market. The price of fine gold has reached Rs 126,000 per tola (11.66 grams) today, up from Rs 125,000 per tola the previous day. 

According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Association (FENEGOSIDA), the price of Tejabi gold is set at Rs 125,400 per tola, an increase from Rs 124,000 the previous day.

Similarly, the price of silver has risen by Rs 5 per tola, reaching Rs 1,475 today. 

FENEGOSIDA determines the price of gold and silver in the domestic market based on the international market prices. The price of gold in the international market is currently around $2,178 per ounce.
