Khalti, Garima Bikash Bank sign strategic agreement for digital  transformation

KATHMANDU: Khalti, a leading online payment service provider in Nepal, and Garima Bikas Bank have entered into a strategic partnership for digital transformation, marking a new era of convenience for the bank's customers. 

This collaboration allows customers of Garima Bikas Bank to seamlessly benefit from the services of Khalti's digital wallet.

As part of this partnership, customers of Garima Bikas Bank can effortlessly load their Khalti wallets directly from their mobile banking app, Garima Digital Batuwa. Consequently, customers will have access to a plethora of features offered by Khalti wallet, ranging from movie bookings and event tickets to voting and other bill payment features, all at their fingertips. 

The partnership also facilitates a withdrawal service, enabling customers to transfer their balance from Khalti to their Garima Bikas Bank account in a hassle-free manner.

Khalti, an ISO 27001:2013 certified company (Information Security Management System), has completed seven years in operation. Khalti was recognised with the prestigious WITSA Global Innovation & Tech Excellence Awards 2022, along with the Highest Digital Transactions Processing Payment Service Provider 2023.
