KATHMANDU: WWF World Wildlife Fund (WWF) Nepal has opened applications for the WWF Memorial Scholarships 2023/24, inviting Nepali students who aspire to carve out careers in nature conservation.
This scholarship serves as a tribute from WWF, a leading organisation in wildlife conservation and the protection of endangered species, to the memory of late conservation leaders who tragically lost their lives in a helicopter accident near Ghunsa, Taplejung on September 23, 2006. This initiative aims to nurture a new generation of conservation leaders.
Nepali students with a passion for nature conservation are encouraged to apply for one or more scholarships, depending on their relevance and the criteria outlined on the WWF website.
The deadline for applying is March 15, 2024.
