KATHMANDU: Hansraj Hulaschand and Company, the sole authorised distributor of KTM motorcycles in Nepal, launched the KTM 250 DUKE GEN-3 in Kathmandu today.
The 2024 KTM 250 DUKE GEN-3 has set standards in power and innovation. This upgrade for the DUKE series offers a riding experience and is now available at an introductory price of Rs 739,900.

With race-inspired lines and two new colour schemes, the KTM 250 DUKE redesign optimises aerodynamics for higher top speeds.
The bike, with its design, sets a standard in street riding. The motorcycle features a new chassis, combining a steel trellis main frame with a bolt-on sub aluminium frame, lightweight wheels, and brakes. This engineering balance allows the 250 DUKE GEN-3 to excel on the streets. The design's rigidity, agility, and feedback ensure a dynamic and responsive riding experience.
The motorcycle includes an off-centre rear mono shock, a curved cast aluminium swing arm, and an offset WP APEX rear shock absorber, emphasising vehicle dynamics and design. The lightweight wheels contribute to improved handling, complemented by a braking system equipped with four-piston radial callipers and SUPERMOTO ABS.
The bike focuses on rider comfort with a longer wheelbase, adjustable seat height, and a redesigned frame. It also has LED lighting, ride-by-wire technology, a quick shifter, and an underbelly exhaust. With optional seat height settings of 800mm/820mm, the 250 DUKE GEN-3 caters to riders seeking versatility.
The KTM 250 DUKE GEN-3 has the latest LC4c engine, offering more power, smoother acceleration, and a lighter weight. It has an improved gearbox and optimised cylinder head, delivering 30 PS power and 25Nm torque. This liquid-cooled, single-cylinder 4-stroke engine, paired with electronic fuel injection, ensures a responsive riding experience on the streets of Nepal.
The curved radiator ensures effective engine cooling, maintaining optimal performance temperature for riding, whether on the track or in city traffic.
Ergonomics have been a focus in the design of 2024 KTM 250 DUKE, with a developed knee area for increased rider movement, a narrow profile for contact, and bodywork designed for wind and weather protection.
